Dental hygienist/Prophylaxis assistant
Working hours: 20%–100%
Permanent position
Weekdays
Start date: Immediately or by agreement
Your duties
- Oral hygiene instruction and promotion
- Recording clinical and radiological data for teeth and periodontium
- Screening of oral mucosa for dentist referrals
- Independent treatment of simple gingivitis patients
- Recording of services using the practice management software
- Processing of patient emails
- Chairside assistance (prophylaxis)
- Patient care
- Work in the sterilisation room
- Assistance at reception
- Assistance with ordering supplies
- Updating patient records
- Independent determination of recall intervals and taking digital radiographs
Profile of requirements
- Successfully completed training as a prophylaxis assistant or dental hygienist
- Clean and precise with a reliable work ethic
- Well-groomed appearance with strong social skills
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
